Midland lines athletics

this week on monday we went to midland lines athletics I did really well in sprints. I came 2nd place in the 100m and the 80m. I did not do as well in the other events like shot put, high jump and long jump.
I surprisingly nearly got 16m in discus with 15.85 meters. thanks for reading this information.

My holiday

In the holidays I went to the Aquatic center then after that I went to My dad's and I play dead rising 2 on my PS3.

this week on monday we went to the greymouth aquatic center  for midland lines swimming I did way better then I did last year and the year before because I did lengths in the deep pool and I usualy do withs. and I can 2nd place in the under water swim by doing 3/4 in the big pool.

narritive

this term we have been doing narritive from back in the 1800s.

things were harder back then because they had no technoligy and no vhecles back then.So it made them fitter

         My 1800s life

Hi my name is Henry and I am from a tiny little Island in Hawaii.

I was born in 1822 and came over in 1865 when I was 43 years old.

I came to a tiny place called Mawhera in New Zealand because I heard there is some Gold. So I left hawaii to get some Gold. I did this because my family needed the money. So for months and years I was running out of luck but a few years later in 1868 I found a humongous nugget of gold.

I lived in a little hut. I looked through the window and saw a little Golden sandy beach with a little brown lagoon on the West Coast. The beach was rocky sandy and drifty which helped

me build the little hut and helped me with the driftwood fire. I brought some tools and food with me to get the gold. For the first few weeks I was having trouble finding pieces of gold.

But after a few Months I found a bit of gold.

So then I searched for more gold but I ran out of luck.

I had a brother come with me. His name is Dean.He also did gold mining in Mawhera.

He found the piece of gold in cobden.Dean struck it lucky in a secret creek in Cobden. He described the creek to me. The creek was full of eels trouts and crawlies. The banks had covered the creek with grass and soft moss. The water in the creek was clear so I could see every rock. The gold was 100 pence=200 quids so he hid the big piece of gold in a bright yellow flower kowhai tree. He put the gold in a kereru nest.

But then I heard my brother Dean got killed by the Kelly Gang. They wanted Dean's Gold. My brother Dean said I will never tell you where the gold is and bang.

As soon as he put the nuget in the tree the Kelly Gang came.He ran as fast as he can but as soon as he ran the kelly gang heard his footsteps and the kelly gang's leader and my brother had a gnarly shootout. On 3 said the kelly gang leader and the the leader counted down 3 2 1 bang. The guns went off. The Kelly Gang leader shot Dean first.

6 ½ months later I went to the tree Dean was talking about. I found The nugget of gold and gave it to my brother and sisters and they had enough money to get what they needed and I came to live in New Zealand with my brother James.
